POINT-IN-TIME TABLE STRUCTURE

— PIT Hash Key: The primary key of the PIT table, generated by combining the primary key reference of the parent Hub or Link with the snapshot date to ensure uniqueness. These keys are later used as a type 2 dimension key

— Hub or Link Hash Key: The hash key of the parent entity (Hub or Link) that the PIT table is referencing. These keys are later used as a type 1 dimension key — Snapshot Date: A timestamp that defines the snapshot moment, representing the state of the data at a specific point in time based on the chosen granularity (e.g., daily, hourly) — Satellite Hash Key 1 to n: Hash keys representing the Satellites connected to the parent Hub or Link entity, used to identify which Satellite records correspond to the snapshot — Satellite Load Date TS 1 to n: The load dates timestamps of the respective Satellites, indicating when the data in each connected Satellite was loaded
