Through the implementation of this solution, the customer was able to get a DWH that is flexible enough to provide useful information from users of different areas. Information clusters are avoided, and a single point of facts is offered to all business areas, by combining and integrating data from the existing source systems. On the other hand, the Data Vault 2.0 architecture helps to support near-real-time information delivery, virtualizing most Information Mart objects, giving access to end users with information that is ready for reporting, but that is also adjustable in the front end tools based on the business requirements.
